Cyberpunk2077 Will Have Much More Options Than The Witcher 3
CD Project RED came out with some information on the relationships you as the protagonist of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 will be able to establish with other characters. Mostly known for the Witcher trilogy, CD Project RED, said you would be able to build different kinds of relationships with the in-game characters including of course, romantic and sexual relationships. Or if you want to bet on e-sports, then it’s better to do it in real life.
CD Project RED Confirms
In Witcher trilogy, we played as Geralt, a defined character who has a particular set of sexual and romantic preferences. In the first game, as Geralt, you could seduce and have sex with almost any female character in the game. In the following games, Geralt focused on several women only, so you could not go and make out with a kitchen made in a random house, which was kinda disappointing for some fans. In Cyberpunk 2077, you will be having much more options, as revealed by Paweł Sasko, a Lead Quest Designer for Cyberpunk 2077.
Though the development of the relationships between you and NPCs will be similar to what you’ve seen in Witcher series, you will have much more options. Unlike in Witcher, where you play as a defined character, in Cyberpunk 2077, you will be creating your own unique character who is going to have a set of skills and personal traits only you can define. In Cyberpunk 2077, the relationships between you and the NPCs will be formed in regards to how you treat them. Be nice, and they will start to like you, be even nicer, and you’ll end up in romantic relationships with those characters.
Considering the setting of the game, which is in the future, you will also be able to have same-sex relationships with other characters. Your romantic choices get really interesting when you think about it, and I know what some of you might be thinking of right now. Can we make out with Keanu Reeves who plays one of the leading characters in the game? Unfortunately, we don’t know it just yet. Either way, Sasko promises that romancing options will be diverse and enjoyable for the players to explore.
We would like to remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be released on April 16, 2020, and will be available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. While you count days till the release, watch a 50-minute gameplay demo from the E3 2019.
